5.3.2 – Activity of Student Council & representation of students on academic & administrative bodies/committees of

o CHARUSAT has a Central Student Council. It consists of student
representatives from each department/institute. o The Central Student Council
organizes various cultural programs like Spoural (cultural festival of
CHARUSAT) Vrund (Navratri celebration) and technical programs like Techfests
and sports week every year to inculcate organizing, technical and extramural
skills and healthy competitive habits among the students. o The University
provides funding for such activities in addition to the sponsorship collected
by the students from various industries and business houses. o All the
constituent institutions of CHARUSAT organize various activities including
poster competitions, self defense workshops, fitness programs and arts crafts
exhibitions etc as a part of International Women’s Day activities. o In
