The Institute

Ramanbhai Patel College of Pharmacy is an integral part of CHARUSAT.

The college started functioning from July 2004. It is patronized by Shri Pankaj Patel, CMD – Zydus Cadilla Helathcare Ltd., to commemorate his father Shri Ramanbhai Patel – the pioneering and distinguished pharmacist of India.

RPCP offers two programmes in Pharmacy:

• B. Pharm. - Bachelor of Pharmacy (Eight Semester Programme)

• M. Pharm. – Master of Pharmacy – (Four Semester Programme) with specialization in Pharmaceutical Technology leading to M.Pharm. Degree.

The institute is established with a view to promote excellence in pharmacy education and to prepare young men and women to meet the challenges of the Industrial Pharmacy and pharmacy practice. Located in calm, pleasant and natural surroundings, about 15km form Nadiad Railway station and easily accessible from the Ahmedabad, Baroda and Anand. A serene, and natural environment covers the campus.

Other institutes in the campus have their landmark achievements; therefore the students joining RPCP have an opportunity of interaction with the different academic communities. Students are encouraged to participate in various competition/events at national level and interaction with industries. Exposure to such environment helps to develop good communication skills, an integrated personality and greater competitive spirit.
