The Institute

CHARUSAT has established the Charotar Institute of Nursing in the year 2009 with the student intake of 40. The institute has been set up with the primary aim of meeting the requirement of nurses at various hospitals of the state and the nation.

The B. Sc. Nursing programme contains basic courses like Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Microbiology and Bio-chemistry which will lay the base for the students for nursing practice. It gives exposure to the students for medical-surgical nursing, adult, geriatric nursing, maternal, pediatric nursing, psychiatric nursing and community health nursing to enable students come out as a professional Nurse. In addition, this course also helps the students to develop their skills, knowledge, and understanding in the field of research, administration and education.

CIN is committed to provide a qualitative nursing education with advance knowledge, skills and caring heart who will be responsible for nations prosperity with a humanistic approach and maintain a high standard of professional care at all times to meet the needs of changing society through continuing education and contribution to professional growth.

Admission process for the Bachelor of Nursing programme is carried out in July - August of every year.
